Audit logs are a great way for an organisation’s Administrators to see what type of information their kaimahi are accessing and the type of client information that is being viewed and or edited.

This feature is only available to users who have a role assigned to them containing the “Audit Trail” feature permission. It is useful for tracking and monitoring the organisation’s users and how they are working.

An audit will display the following information:

  • date stamp of activity

  • User

  • client

  • activity (Created, Read, Updated, Deleted)

  • URL of the page accessed

This feature applies to all domains of the Noted app.

Accessing the Audit Log:

  1. Select the Switcher from the Dashboard

  2. From the menu displayed select Auditing

  3. This will take you to the Audit Log section where you can enter a worker or an entity name. An entity is a client, group, or whānau

  4. Enter a user, and it will show a list of that worker’s recent activity

  5. When you select an activity, it will then take you to another page and show you the interaction time and date stamp

6. To get more information on the interaction, select it, and it will display the URL to the page visited, such as a client record.

7. To view further information, select the URL, and a box will appear that gives an overview such as the client’s general information, the time stamp the interactions occurred, and what the action was, e.g.- Read, Created or Edited client record.

It is important to note that the audit log will only show you the most recent activity closest to the day of the audit trailing. On the right you will see a calendar of the month, to view any other activity during the month you can either select different dates, or you can use the arrows above the most recent activity and navigate backwards to see other interactions.
