When you finish creating a report, it will be visible in the “generated” section of reporting. This is where you can either download a report or share it with your co-workers in your organisation.
To download a report:
Navigate to Reporting via the Switcher
Click on Generated reports in the reporting area
Click on the three dots at the end of the report you wish to download
Click download and your report will be exported as a .csv file
A report you create and generate in Noted is set to private by default and will be listed under My reports. This means you are the only user in your organisation who can see and run this data query. To make a private report accessible to your whole organisation you will need to share this report.
To share a report:
Generate a new report or navigate to an existing report that you wish to share with your organisation from the My reports area
Select the button with three dots next to the word Generate
Select Share and click Share Report
To make a shared report private:
Navigate to the Shared reports
Find the report you wish to make private
Click the button with three dots next to the word Generate
Click Stop Sharing
Note: Noted allows you to privatise any shared reports, including those created by other users. Doing this will assign the report to the original creator’s private reports list. To ensure you don’t accidentally prevent yourself from having access to a shared report you still require, you will be prompted by a pop-up that outlines the impact of this change.
Tip: To retain access to a report that you didn’t create, duplicate the report before changing it from shared to private.
Using previously saved reports
Previous reports are listed by name when you first navigate to Reports.
To save time you can re-run saved reports as it is, or edit a report to ensure it is accurate for the report you want to create. You can also rename and duplicate reports.
If you want data from a specific timeframe, editing a report is useful. Duplicating a report and changing the filters may be more helpful if you want a separate report with a minor difference (e.g. pulling individual reports on specific age categories).
