Noted’s document management provides a secure means of storing all of a client’s information in one location that you can access from any number of devices, wherever you can connect to the internet.
There are many uses for digital document management with users often uploading photos of clients, their signed consent forms, wounds, and more to Noted.
Having sensitive files and photos saved to a device’s storage is a major privacy and security risk. To mitigate this risk, users can log in to Noted using their handheld device (phone or tablet), and take and upload images without having them saved to the device.
Documents can be uploaded both to a client and to specific client records.
Uploading a document to a client
Log in to Noted at app.noted.com using Google Chrome
Tip: Rotate your device to landscape orientation if you are using a phone
Navigate to the client’s records screen
In the bottom left click Records to open the dropdown menu and select Documents
Click Add file and select Camera as the source
Take the photo as you would normally and confirm to upload the image
Uploading a document to a specific client record
Log in to Noted at app.noted.com using Google Chrome
Tip: Rotate your device to landscape orientation if you are using a phone
Navigate to the client record you wish to add an image to
Click Edit and scroll to the very bottom of the record
Note: The record must be unsigned so you can edit it
Tap on +Add documents and select Camera or Take Photo or Video as the source
Take the photo as you would normally and confirm to upload the image
Scroll to the top of the record and click Save & review when finished
If you would prefer to take a photo and upload it later you can do so. When clicking Add file or +Add documents simply select From file or Photo Library instead of Camera to upload a photo taken earlier.
For security reasons, it’s best practice to immediately delete the image from your device once it has been uploaded to Noted.
