One of the ways we help users keep their data safe is by automatically logging out of their session after 20 minutes of inactivity.

If you are editing either a record or a tracking form when you timeout, you will be asked for your password before continuing where you left off. Subsequently, if you are not editing a record or tracking form, you will be redirected back to the login page and your dashboard.

To avoid being returned to your dashboard

Your “authentication token” allows access to Noted while using the system and works across multiple browser tabs and windows. If you have been away from your Noted session for over twenty minutes, you can open a new tab in your browser and head to app.noted.com to bring up the login screen.

Logging in here will refresh your authentication token. You can then close this tab and go back to your original tab of Noted and find that you haven’t lost your place and can continue on as you were before without having to navigate back there.
