Restricting access to a whanaunga āwhina

Controlling who can access a whanaunga āwhina

Access to a whanaunga āwhina is derived from its primary contact and members using their team access controls. When a worker searches for a whanaunga āwhina:

  • If the primary contact does not share a team with the worker the whanaunga āwhina is hidden entirely

  • If a member other than the primary contact does not share a team with the worker the whanaunga āwhina can be discovered but is restricted and no members or session data can be viewed

Note: The same applies if a worker does share a team but has been blocked access to a client via user access restrictions
