Whether you are changing your passwords intentionally or you’ve managed to lock yourself out, there are two main ways you can reset your Noted password.

When locked-out - Using Lost your password

Usernames and passwords are case-sensitive, entering them incorrectly multiple times will result in being locked out of your Noted account. To reset your account, follow the steps below:

  1. From the Noted login page, click Lost your password

  2. Enter your username (not your email address)

  3. A password reset link will be emailed to you. Follow the steps to enter a new password and get back into your account

Note: Usernames are case-sensitive, ensure you are entering the correct upper and lower case letters.

Tip: If your reset email isn’t appearing in your inbox, check your junk or spam folders

From the inside - Changing your password

Another way to reset your password is doing so while you are already logged into your account. To do this:

  1. Click on your name in the top-right corner of Noted

  2. At the bottom of the page there is an “Update Password” section

  3. Enter in your current password and you will then be prompted to enter in a new password

  4. Select “Save user settings” once finished

Administration

An administrator can reset the passwords of users within your organisation. When the user logs in with the admin-set password they will immediately be prompted to enter a new password.
