Whether you are changing your passwords intentionally or you’ve managed to lock yourself out, there are two main ways you can reset your Noted password.
When locked-out - Using Lost your password
Usernames and passwords are case-sensitive, entering them incorrectly multiple times will result in being locked out of your Noted account. To reset your account, follow the steps below:
From the Noted login page, click Lost your password
Enter your username (not your email address)
A password reset link will be emailed to you. Follow the steps to enter a new password and get back into your account
Note: Usernames are case-sensitive, ensure you are entering the correct upper and lower case letters.
Tip: If your reset email isn’t appearing in your inbox, check your junk or spam folders
From the inside - Changing your password
Another way to reset your password is doing so while you are already logged into your account. To do this:
Click on your name in the top-right corner of Noted
At the bottom of the page there is an “Update Password” section
Enter in your current password and you will then be prompted to enter in a new password
Select “Save user settings” once finished
Administration
An administrator can reset the passwords of users within your organisation. When the user logs in with the admin-set password they will immediately be prompted to enter a new password.
